Its gone from 520mbps to 427mbps. I am not really seeing the issue?

If your using WiFi then thats to be expected anyway. If you are using ethernet its likely down to the particular speedtest server & time of day. I see your screenshots show different servers used.

Re: Sky ultrafast speed drop how can this happen?

Thanks for the quick response yes I'm running a wired setup  and most of the other servers would be around 500.

I also tried downloading a big game from steam as well know it could reach 63mb/s but now it's only about 42mb/s.

Up untill recently my speed has almost stayed the same even at peak times but now it's dropped I just wounder why it has dropped so much.

I know the test servers are different but even if I try various other servers it never gets any better.

Thanks

Steam tend to quote speed in MBps which is 8× the speed of Mbps

Assuming you are on FTTP?

Unfortunately there isnt a lot you can do, its not like traditional copper where the speed can be affected by various factors. With fibre its either on at full speed or off. The speed changes are likely related to local server usage.

Until you drop below your guaranteed minimum speed I doubt Sky will be interested.

@lisaf1

I believe that Steam measure in MB/s and Sky measure in Mb/s, 42 MB/s is about 350Mb/s
