Sky signature & Sky Q at same time

Is it possible to keep Sky signature on one box and upgrade another sky box to Sky Q?

hi @paracetamol SKY Signature is the current TV Subscription base package & is applicable irrespective of type  the box (SKY + or SKY Q)

You cannot have SKY +  (which I presume you mean) & SKY Q active on an account - it is one or the other

You can use the old SKY + boxes after a move - providing a hybrid LNB is used but the SKY + boxes become dumb Freesat boxes with no SKY channels or record/playback capability

Sky Signature is the basic package with Sky so you would need to have this on the Sky Q box at the very least. So I presume you question is can you have a Sky+ and Sky Q box then the answer is no, if you want Sky Q and you want Sky TV in another room you would have to have a Sky Q mini.

Thanks for these answers.

And would it be possible for two people in the same household to have their own sky tv account?

One person would want Sky+ and the other Sky Q.

Is that doable without problems?

@paracetamol

No: Sky only permits one television account (either Plus or Q) per postal address.  Aside from other issues, dishes and cabling become a complication.

Hi @paracetamol   As long as you have completely separate postal addresses (on the Royal Mail database) and possibly separate broadband.
