Sky q unpausing itself and losing the paused content
So I'll pause a programme, and after a while it will unpause itself. And catch up to where the programme is live. If I try to rewind it to where I paused it, i can't. It's as if it's just been switched to that channel and there is no content saved from before. Its not even that it stopped pausing after the 1 hour either. It happened tonight after about 30 mins. And frustratingly, even if I just try to pause again, it will only pause for about 20 seconds before unpausing again.

@Killmackay I can see from your post you are aware of the pause time of 1 hour but are you aware that, that is the total amount of time you can pause for ie , in this scenario watching a programme your phone goes so you pause the programme, at 30 minute you unpause and start watching again a further 10 minutes later your phone goes again you again pause and the call this time takes 29 minutes. This means that if you have to pause the programme again it would only pause for 1 minute before restarting.
I am only mentioning this as some people have thought they have an hour on each time they pause the box which is true if you only pause it once then when the programme is finished you exit out of the programme and go back to live tv
If you are positive that the puase was on for less than 1 hour in total then you could try rebooting your box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions
