Sky moved my package from BT but BT still charging me after 5 months and say Sky's fault

Signed up with sky but they didn't fully cancel the whole of my BT package in the transfer.

Tried to get BT to refund but they say Sky should have done the switch properly so won't refund.

BT still charging me after joining Sky in June.

Can't find a way to get a contact number to speak to anyone at Sky at all.

@Gnaser What part of your package are BT still charging for?

If you have Sky broadband then just dial 150 from your landline to speak to customer service.

Also, we don't have a landline, in that I have no landline phone in the house.

Sky would only cancel the broadband and talk as it is up to you to cancel the TV package.

@Gnaser That explains why your still being charged then as @caesarome states Sky can only cancel the broadband part of your former service, you better get on the phone to BT and put in your cancellation request.

Because it's only broadband which is covered by the Ofcom-mandated 'one touch' switch system: Ofcom don't have market-making regulatory powers over the IP television market in the same way as they do for broadband.

Indeed.

You'd think either Sky or BT would have informed me of this though at the point of me speaking to both of them before subscribing to Sky.

All sorted now. BT have accepted culpability.

Worth noting that Sky did indeed cancel my TV package but BT Sport and HD/4K were addons and those didn't get cancelled.

That's fortunate, but it's not the normal process.

@Gnaser suspect as BT TV requires BT broadband that effectively cancelled itself when you switchedisps. Depending in what TV bundle if any you were bought from Sky you can pay BT to get their sports coverage on Sky Q for example or buy the same channels  from Sky.
