Sky in husband’s name, we’ve separated, how do I transfer to my name? Thanks

Sky won't talk to me, as I'm not the account holder, my ex is. How do I transfer it to me?

It can not be transfered to you so your husband would have to cancel it and when this has been done you can then sign up again as a new customer.

  • As we are customers on the forum we can only provide advice.
    In this case that would be to discuss the issue with Sky.
  • To find the number click on "Need more help" at the bottom of this page
    https://www.sky.com/help/home
  • If you have Sky Talk or Sky Mobile dial 150 for a free call to Sky.
  • When you call you will be asked if the call is to do with mobile say "No"
    You will then be asked the nature of the call say " Technical "
    You will then be asked for a mobile number, give the number but DO NOT hang up when it says to do so.
    It will then ask "do you wish to hang up" say " No" you will then be put in the queue for an advisor.
  • I hope this helps.

Then I think you could well be stuck, the only thing you might be able to do is if you have access to the account is to stop paying the bills as Sky will then contact him regarding this.
