It's not a great way to start by starting with a show cancelled after one season.

Even worse when, in now typical fashion, the only season to get made isn't wrapped up properly because they were pitching for renewal right up to when it stopped filming...

One thing I do not watch is this spate of single season cancelled shows that come from the US. Fox was big on running them.

Did tv show makers not learn from "my name is Earl"?

No

Another example was The Borgias, which had a final written but never made

Regardless if it's a Christmas film or not, I'm just pointing out that there are some good movies on Sky Cinema. A Boy Called Christmas is also good. If you like superhero type movies, The Suicide Squad is today's movie.

Of course, and I like you, I am entitled to comment as such. No need to get your knickers in a twist 😛

Downloaded The Suicide Squad film today 😄 (no spoilers)

I have the full Sky Q HD package, and a few nights ago thought that I would like to watch the movie Bohemiam Rhapsody again as there is not really many movies that I would choose to watch on Sky Cinema, I had watched it a couple of times in the past and after searching for it I was taken to Sky Store and was expected to pay a minimum of £4.99 buy and keep just to watch a movie that was included in the cinema package earlier, surely any movies that were free to watch for Sky Cinema subscribers should remain free to watch.

If you wish, you can cancel your Sky Cinema subscription by phoning Sky. I would suggest trying one of the apps like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime etc for movies instead. There less than £/€10 per month and probably more worth it to you personally.

For Sky employees who may read this: How about a Sky Cinema app like Disney+? At least then people could choose the movie they wish to watch and not go by Sky's schedule.

There used for be a Sky Cinema App on mobiles but they closed it about 18 months ago

You can already choose the movie you want to watch by going to Sky Cinema section in On Demand or even searching for it on either on your box or the Sky Go app so don't understand that comment.

It's possible you might wantt Sky Cinema when it comes bundled for a free subscription for Paramount+.

Also  ViacomCBS are rebranding Paramount Network as 5Action in January.

Any chance 5Action will be in HD?

5Action is only due to be HD on Sky Glass. I suspect it'll be upscaled though.

I meant it to be a seperate app away from Sky, like Disney+ or Netflix. I mean they could have people solely subscribe to Sky Cinema (similar to NOW) and use an app (external from Sky) where people could have full access to movies availalbe from Sky.

Then they could add this Sky Cinema app to the apps on Sky Q/Sky Glass.
