It won't, you need a main q box and a multi screen, but it will work.

I am more sorry for the person if their box was stolen and they have had to pay the non return fee of £50 unless of course they are selling one they received from sky for more than that in which case they are another crook.

It does amuse me that I have seen mini boxes for sale on ebay for more than the upfront cost of getting them from Sky. There is one there currently for £110 + £10 p&p.

@Kevin+j+v   Sky Q mini boxes draw the content from a Q main box.  They don't have a satelite connection.  As somebody mentioned earlier.  Be in possession of facts.  It is not possible for a mini to work without a Q main box, a valid viewing card and multiscreen subscription.

It was their box at the end of contract they decided to sell instead of returning.

Im not here to debate the moral ethics of it, I'm just stating they do work.

I agree on the eBay pricing, they go for way more than off sky, I don't know what persuades people to buy them.

It wasn't their box - they're always Sky's property.

They'll get charged the non-return fee eventually and the mini box will get disabled too.

@Kevin+j+v  Sky Q Main, Mini boxes and Hubs are not theirs to sell, it is clear in the T & C's they signed up to that all Sky Q equipment remains the property of Sky.

Until Sky disable it, leaving the buyer with a useless peice of tech and out of pocket.  Any being sold on these sites are Stolen, Fact!
