My sky box randomly stops working. It's will not allow me to search, pause, watch recorded shows etc. Sometimes it will say it's a issue with viewing card, others time it doesn't say anything.
I have take out the viewing card, but the only thing that works it turning the box off my the wall switch. 20minutes later the same thing happens again.
any ideas, it's a sky+ box about 6 years old.

Press Services on your remote
Select Help
Select Sky+ Rebuild
This should take no longer than 10 minutes, don't do it if you are recording or due to start recording something.
