Sky Q refund after switching to Sky Glass

Good Morning, 

 

I've seen a few posts on this, but no real answer given.

 

I've switched to Sky Glass, and in the first month i paid for both Q and Glass.

 

I was told i would be refunded the Sky Q payment, and indeed on my account it shows as. acredit due to me,

 

i was just wondering how long this takes to come back?

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble. When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

I have also been charged a week apart for my previous skybthen sky glass. Why didn't they credit the first bill?? And there no site of a refund!!! How do I get this without phoning them because I simply don't have the time to do it just now.

I have escalated your post to Sky who will be in touch with you sometime tomorrow regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.

My direct debit of £74 has been taken for sky q even though I have changed to sky glass and I have noticed that they want to take the payment for sky glass four days later, I don't have the funds to pay £74 twice within four days, my tv package is exactly the same so I assumed it would just carry on as normal... help 😞

This does happen when a upgrade to Sky Q takes place so if you give Sky a call they should be about to issue a refund on any overpayment for Sky Q. This will take up to five working days to be refunded to you.

I moved from sky Q to sky glass a couple of weeks ago. Since then I've been charged a total of £278.50 for the one off payment on ordering, a sky Q bill and now 'first' sky glass bill!! I have spoken to someone about refunds due and have been told yes I am due refunds - Ive also sent back the pucks and cancelled whole home the day after receiving them as decided to just stick with the main sky glass. Anyway my main question is why do I have to wait 45 days - 6 weeks for my refund??!! This is surely not right. I've been a loyal sky customer for nearly 15 years and feel really fed up by this.... 😣

@Sarahm0801 that's the time it takes for an automatic refund. Sky should be able to make a manual refund in 3-5 days.

I've still not had my refund! Have phoned twice now!! Nearly a month and another payment of sky glass is now due!!
