Sky Q box rip would appear.

Not had any really issues with sky q until tonight.

Currently have virgin media run through a deco m5 system as WiFi needed boosting. As with all networks, occasionally you need to reset them, done this tonight and that's been the sky box in meltdown.

Previously the box, router and deco has been unplugged numerous times and always started up and worked fine....until last night.

Now the box will constantly freeze on recordings and live TV, tried a soft reset and sadly now going to try a hard reset.

What makes me think its got more deep lying issues, is the fact when it goes off the green light is on and the fan is on max speed 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  • It would appear to be an HDD fault, I would contact Sky soonest.
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 25 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.
