Sky Internet Call Set Up

Hi All, 

I have been a sky customer for many years. We have recently moved home and with it our Sky TV and broadband. We want to keep the landline number in the new house, which we have done.

 

The issue is, the phone has not worked since the sky broadband has connected. I need some simple steps to connect the phone line to the hub please. 

I need to know whether we are missing hardware. Sky were due to send us a new hub which never arrived, I can't get through to anyone on the phone. Is there a lead missing??

I did follow the instructions online to connect the hub but to be honest once it didn't work, there was no where to go! Only a very long wait to speak to an advisor that never arrived.

Your phone just connects into the back of the router instead of the master socket, as we don't know what cables you do have then you would be best posting a picture of your cables that have been provided.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Is the Hub that you have a Sky Broadband Hub, as pictured here: https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/set-up-your-sky-hub/which-sky-hub-do-you-have

Thank you I have posted a few photos that may make sense. I believe the issue is the phone to hub line

@ahigginsTake your phone out of the filter on the wall and plug it into the back of the router.

I have bought a new phone 

collecting in Argos tomorrow - where would I pick up a new lead please?

@ahiggins you need to use the cable that is currently plugged into the 'phone' socket of your master filter. Disconnect it from the master filter and plug it in instead into the socket marked UK at the back of the Hub.

 

One of your pictures can't be approved as it shows your wifi password.
