I moved to Mac mini and was having these problems. I removed/resintalled sky go and no joy. I messed around with rosetta install for a while and it seemed to be installed already. I did not have the "open with rosetta open" when right right clicking on app.

I then found out how to completely remove a app from the mac and reinstall it from this youtuber: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGXVh9c-nsM

I downloaded again from sky go website and, voila. this fixed the issue.

I've been having the same problem for the last week. Calls to broadband provider, Apple and Sky 

Finally tried downloading Rosetta, then re installing Sky Go and it works

Rosetta requires an a standard key board as it changes the @ to " so hit the " to get the @

I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it several times with no luck on a MacBook Pro 16 inch M1 Pro.  When I found and followed the instructions in this reply it worked first time.
