Router channels

Can someone please give me an idiots guide to changing channels in my router? I have the worst internet connection in history and have tried everything. It's so slow and drops out daily. I have to reconnect all devices most days. Please help!!

Hi @Ashbat

If you're looking to change the channels - follow this guide

Or,  as @Highlinder mentioned splitting the frequency's, can be done by following this User Guide

May you please post your router stats, this can be done following the information in this link

The forum may be able to offer some other advice also.

Re: Router channels

I'm looking to do whichever one makes my laptop work faster. I've tried everything else to improve the speed of my laptop and the only thing left is to switch channels, I think! It's driving me nuts and Sky are literally no help!

@Ashbat

Changing channel may not speed up your connection to the laptop if your line is bad or the WiFi conditions in your home are poor. Have you tried an ethernet cable to see if its any better?
Can you post your router stats?
