Reuse old viewing card
Hi, due to getting a tv for my son and wanting him to be able to watch kids tv in his own room, I still have my old Sky hd box set up for him. Done the manual software check, but no kids tv will happen it says the viewing card needs pairing. I'm not sure how to do it as it's a hd box and my main box is Sky Q now of course with multi room which is in my room. Any suggestions please?

Re: Reuse old viewing card
You cannot have a Sky Q subscription and a normal Sky subscription at the same address, so even if you have a hybrid LNB (required for normal Sky) you'll only be able to view Freesat channels
For multiscreen you'll have to purchase a Sky Q mini with the extra subscription cost

You would only be able to get the chkldren's channels available from Freesat, as @Annie+UK posted. You can see details of what's available here: https://www.freesat.co.uk/channels/on-tv/children
Beyond that, you'll need an additional Sky Q Mini box.
