Returns

Hi all.

I wonder if anyone else had same issue. We left sky in 2018 when virgin laid their 200meg cable on our street. Some upgrade from skys four mbps. It's now the end of 2021 and sky are hoping for the sky box and remote back. ( despite over 2 and a half years since cancelling and nearly 6 years after  joining. just wonder if anyone has any idea how much they will want to extort from us for disposing of the equipment in an environmently friendly fashion sometime late 2019

Also they advise if I still have the original box for packing that would be ideal. Although it decomposed due to being over 6 years old

Also does anyone else find the customer service staff treat you as the enemy?

What a company

If you have some equipment to return then you can use your own packaging and print yourself a returns label, this guide will help you with this:

@Andy+no-sky To be clear, if it's a Sky+HD box, you own it and can do what you like with it. If you want to return it to Sky for recycling, you can - they don't charge - but you're at liberty to find your own solution for disposing of it in an environmentally friendly way.

Re: Returns

Yes. My point as made was that I disposed of the equipment over 2 years ago. They are now demanding I return it despite not being a customer for such a long time.

We cancelled the package years ago. I'm wondering how much they will be charging me for not hoarding it for them since 2018

If it's Sky+ equipment you don't have to return it, as I posted before, as you own it.

If it's Sky Q equipment it's loaned to you and it's your responsibility to return it, in accordance with the terms and condition you agreed to.
