Refer a friend. Were we conned by Sky?

@Oapbones Thanks for raising, just had a look and it's showing expired for me too. I don't know whether it still works despite the date shown, so can't help with your personal experience I'm afraid, but I'll get the right team to fix the date issue in general.

So after my post my link clearly worked as I received my £75 voucher from sky I even got an email confirmation this was late oct early nov! However I referred my mam and she hasn't had a thing! The T&Cs state she should get an email link to follow 45 days after her first bill which was 22nd Oct and claim for her gift but she has t got any email! I called sky to help her get this and she has to call why can't the process just happen like it's stated she's 80 years old, just making it hard for people to get their gift!

I was concerned about this so I did the whole thing for my in-laws on their behalf. So I got the referral code and went through the order process for them using the link in their email snd my referral code. This was at end of November, installed early December,  so has now been over 45 days since 1st payment and neither of us heard anything. It wouldn't bother me so much but sky make it harder than it needs to be to claim, have a limited time to claim, and it's very difficult to contact anyone.

I clicked on the link to refer a friend , received email as below

Join Sky TV before 1 August and it gets even better. A £75 prepaid Mastercard will be coming your way.

This was yesterday 4 August.  Don't know about anyone else but this is impossible
