Recording actual "no signal" instead of program on record

Our sky + box works perfectly (mosly anyway) and records without issues except for my wifes "Neighbours" She usually has about 30 episodes on the planner. Randomly some episodes just display "no signal" which can only be got rid of by unplugging etc. No great matter, just trying to placate irate wife. Cheers

That will be a message from your tv, reporting that it can't find a signal from your Sky box. It doesn't mean a satellite signal issue.

It might be because of a faulty HDMI cable, or just an occasional Sky box glitch where it stops sending a signal to its HDMI socket. Check your Sky box standby setting: it it's not already set to Eco, try changing it. That will result in your Sky box automatically restarting at around 5.45am, which might reduce the glitches.

Is that no signal or no satellite signal?

No signal ... Maybe sky box went offline and not woken up to record? No other message on screen, just, no signal.
