I am getting a loud crackling sound coming from the SkyQ Box

I am getting a loud crackling sound coming from the SkyQ Box everytime I switch it on from standby mode. I get an awful crackling sound in the Television.  So  I followed troubleshooting and disconnected the SkyQ Box for 15 minutes and reconnected it and the sound issue was resolved (temporarily).  But the following morning when I switched the SkyQBox on from standyby mode the same loud crackiling awful distorted sound started over again.  I need to get this SkyQ Box replaced it is such a nuisance considering the amount I am paying for subscription.

@SKYGMAIL if you think your box is faulty afraid you will need to contact Sky to get the box replaced this is a customer to customer forum so you are not contacting Sky on here 

A couple of things to try is chech your hdmi cable is seated properly in the back of the Q box and the TV also check the power cable in the Sky box is seated propely and fully inserted

hi,  my picture was going off about 2-3 sec about 3 to 4 times a day,  i bought 2 8k hdmi cables from amazon,  1 lead from tv to sky sound box, 1 from soundbox to Sky Q box.  as i did thought the sky q box was faulty at first.  just took a chance it was the leads,  not had an issue since. maybe your sound issue will be the same,  just felt the sky standard HDMI leads wasnt cutting it for me.
