Question about Sky Q

I don't have Sky so I'm not sure how this works, but my mother has Sky Q but it's only in the sitting room, and she wants to start watching it back in bed. She rang Sky and they said they'd send her a Sky Q mini box but it'll cost an extra €19 a month. That seems a bit much so I was looking on Adverts and Donedeal and there's folk selling mini Q boxes for about €50.

Will that work or is there some way that Sky would have it blocked?

@pekoms In short, it's stolen property and wouldn't work. All Q boxes belong to Sky and are loaned to customers. The customer would pay an activation fee (around £50) then a monthly Multiscreen Subscription.

@pekoms

Any mini boxes advertised for sale are stolen. All mini boxes, like Sky Q boxes are the property of Sky and loaned to customers.

@pekomsShe needs a monthly subscription for multiroom and pay a one off fee of £50 for the box to Sky.
