Pre-register of Sky Glass.

I pre-registered the day Sky Glass was announced and haven't heard a thing since. What was the purpose of pre-registration, are they going to phone or email us before launch date of Monday 18th?

Ok, I thought because they asked for  phone and email they would use that to contact people interested enough to pre register. So what happens now, phone up or order online from Monday?

@gryffe when Q launched I pre-registered heard nothing so phoned up,and ordered without any problems. Sky msy have an online ordering page for Glass as things have moved on a bit in the last few years. I would keep an eye on the forum as within a few seconds of that coming up someone will post a.link.

I am guessing but I would expect that Sky would email a link to people who registered so they could use the link to order.

Thanks @Chrisee. Seems strange they dont already have an order page online yet given they announced it last week, or a phone number you can contact them on. Guess they might be busy on Monday!

@gryffe not strange at all as orders have not opened yet - most companies do a press launch followed by accepting orders a week or so later with deliveries a few days later.

has anyone had any response yet from the pre-register? Am looking to order online Monday but have read a comment on here ,somewhere, saying they were told people that pre-registered would be prioritised?

can't see how that would work unless they sent a link ?

@M3rk All we have been told is pre-registering gives you priority when ordering on Monday no other details have been given

Registration page now updated to say they are initially prioritising pre-registered diamond and platinum customers for sales, but that sales to others won't be long. Presume we will hear more today...

Or go into store and order as soon as it opens today. Making pre registering completely pointless.
