I have recently moved and had my Sky set up in the new home. Unfortunatly the Sky router was connected in a room that is the furthest away from my bedroom/office which has very poor WIFI. I was told by the engineer to wait 2 weeks before speaking to Sky about this issue as they will not do anything for a while as they call it bedding in time for the router. Well it has been3 weeks and no improvement. Are Sky obliged to ensure WIFI works in all rooms?

If you have Sky broadband boost service then yes wifi will be almost guaranteed to 3Mbps with the latest Sky SR203/SR204 router and a wireless booster to cover the areas that the router won't cover. But the 'almost' bit is that if it doesn't cover the areas at 3Mbps then you'll keep the equipment but be refunded the broadband boost service which cost an additional amount monthly until end of the contract.
Zen internet on FTTP (900Mbps down, 100Mbps up). SAT> IP (Apple 4K 2nd gen TV to LG C1 OLED UHD TV/Dolby Atmos Denon AVR, DacMagic Plus for Hi-Res audio), hosting own blog/forum (cluster), OPNsense & Zenarmor L4/L7 NGFW & DPI IDS/IPS, Asus ET12 Pro Tri-Band wifi, Linux, Gamer: Xbox Series X/i7 laptop, round-robin DNS over HTTPS, non-proprietary VoIP HD AMR-WB (G.722.2) and more... Beta tester Apple iOS/watchOS/tvOS/iPadOS/macOS.
