Re: Non Stacking of Recordings - Better but not solved!
@Chloe-W22
@Kirsty-S27
exactly the same issue with my box
Also I started this weeks recordings of Emmerdale
Eastenders
Coronation St
with nothing existing on the box for these soaps....
To clarify..... everything was 'permanently' deleted that was on the planner having been viewed
I took off the series link for each of them, then reselected the programmes and added the series link for this weeks eoisodes
Nothing has changed with the recordings ... still in a mess ... and as stated by
@Sambora71
Emmerdale has split into two tiles

So:-
1: Can SKY confirm that not all users are getting these problem.
2: Is it reasonable to conclude that it is not being caused by the programme makers but by something in SKY's system, as implied by the original explanation of an update to the system to standardise the software platform.
3: Is my hunch of cacheing/edge servers a possible reason for different users getting different experiences?

Re: Non Stacking of Recordings - Better but not solved!
For the last two weeks all has been good for me across the many channels I record from.
None of my usual suspects have failed during that time.
Will report back if it happens again.
Sky Stream with two pucks (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Protect smart tech kit tester.
My good journey to Sky Stream from Sky Q. Click here to read

Unfortunately I can't do that as we're that far behind the episodes I'd delete we'd lose as they aren't available to download.
My point still remains though - they've had plenty of time to sort this out & it's not good enough.

Have you done anything to rectify it yourself?

Re: Non Stacking of Recordings - Better but not solved!
So before I went on holiday I deleted (permanently) all Emmerdale episodes. Turned off and set Series Link on Emmerdale on 103 ITV HD twice.
I've come back from holiday to see all of the Emmerdale episodes all stacked together.... EXCEPT for yesterday's which is all on its own!
I mean, come on!

I'm back from hol on Thurs.... cant wait to see what a dogs dinner my planner is in.
I notice Sky employees have totally stopped replying on this thread now, except when its something easy to answer and doesnt really relate to this anymore. Have they given up as well?

There wasn't an episode yesterday as yesterday was Sunday.
We were away last week too. When we returned Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday episodes were stacked correctly but Fridays was on its own. It's not the end of the world and they have been watched and deleted (completely).

I'd also like to add that Coronation Street is also all over the place - the episodes for Aug are listed under "Series 64" tab, apart from last Wed which is listed under "Series 65" tab, and last Friday is listed under "Other" tab.
I did think that there might be a new series, but today's episode was listed under "Series 64".
So, clearly a mess.

@Daniel0210 you're right. Checked again and it's Friday's episode stacked all on its own.
Today's episode was stacked with the other episodes.

Just checked Coronation Street. 4th and 7th Aug's episodes were in one stack, under a "Series 64" tab. 9th's episode is under a "Series 65" tab , while 11th's episode is under an "Other" tab. 14th's episode is under "Series 64" tab.

Re: Non Stacking of Recordings - Better but not solved!
I sure SkY would find it helpful if other users could confirm if they have the same issue or if this is confined to certain users. As I've left I can't help!
