No phone calls in or out so can't phone sky to discuss no phone calls in or out.............

I have no phone line but I have broadband, how do I get an engineer out that doesn't involve calling sky on a phone line that doesn't work.

@junegardiner If you haven’t already you should try the troubleshooting on this link ~ https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/fix-problems-with-your-phone/check-your-phone-line 
If it’s still not working after that come back and add another post to this one and a forum user with the relevant level may escalate your post to Sky. Sky can then check your line and if an external fault is discovered they can notify Openreach to fix.

I have escalated your post to Sky who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.

When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

HI - i've tried the online diagnostic guide but still nothing working.  Can I have my line checked please and an engineer sent out?

Thank you but still no response.  Actually just going to leave sky now, I'm sure when they can't take my direct debit they'll be able to answer me..............

Stopping your direct debit will only result in an automated email.

@junegardiner If you cancel your DD Sky won't contact you and you will not be able to ring them. You'll incur late payment fees, Sky could involve a debt collection agency and it could impact your credit rating. Cancelling your payment is the last thing you should do.

My guess is that they might have contacted you via here on the 17th but if you didn't respond it would have closed on the 19th ifs you did not respond within 48 hours so did you check on the 17th and 18th ?
