Netflix freezes on SkyQ mini

Sky Q mini box is connected to LG Smart TV. A couple of times recently on switch on the TV has said that is has automatically upgraded the TV software. On both occasions this has led to Netflix not loading properly when selected through SkyQ handset. Rather than the usual Netflix procedure where you are asked to choose a user to continue a static image of one of the Netflix prorammes appears.
Troubleshooting has shown the only way to restore the setup is to remove mains from the mini box and replace power after about 30 seconds. Netflix then works as usual through SkyQ.
I have now disabled auto update of the LG software in the hope that this was the problem. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?
The SkyQ main box seems unaffected.
