Comcast own NBC so I guess that wouldn't be unlikely.  However, technology isn't really the challenge: with News it's whether an overseas station can meet the much stricter requirements for balance and impartiality required in the UK (which can impose significant extra cost) while existing on what's typically a tiny audience share.

@NickNewark  I was under the impression it for NBC News Now, there are a couple of test cards running.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

When I tune into NBC news on Sky I get the message I need to upgrade to watch it but I thought it was free - is that not the case??

NBC News is only available in HD. In order to watch it, you must have an HD subscription. You can call Sky to get an HD subscription.
