My main sky Q keeps losing Wi-fi connection, when the sky booster and mini box are on
Good morning, my sky q main box keeps loosing internet connection, when the mini box and sky booster box are on. All my other devices are working fine on the Wi-fi and so does the main box if I have the mini and booster turned off, so I can't be a Wi-fi problem. Are the boxes faulty?

Re: My main sky Q keeps losing Wi-fi connection, when the sky booster and mini box are on
I have the same problem...all my laptops, phones, Xbox, Google smart devices, etc hardly ever lose WiFi, but my sky q box loses its WiFi connection at least 5-6 times a week.
I saw an article that suggested it could have something to do with the WiFi signal (2.4GHz versus 5GHz...modern routers support both and automatically pick a frequency depending on how many devices are connecting to it) but frankly I doubt that's the issue...I have smart bulbs and smart plugs that only work on the 2.4GHz frequency, while everything else uses the 5GHz frequency, and they all work fine.
The only conclusion I can draw is that the main sky q box is faulty. The modem (or whatever bit of hardware they use to communicate with my router) must be damaged and is dropping connection.
Having tried any number of fixes, I think the only solution is a new sky q box
