Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?

We watched mostly live end of last season and I don't recall having an issue, but at the time lots of early adopters were having similar issues with other programmes. It's great if you aren't 'recording' things.

How can it be rights issues? Sky are the main buyers of F1 so you'd think they'd have preferential treatment. Also, what are the benefits to the content owner from delaying streaming yet allowing unlimited recording and playback on PVRs such as Sky Q?

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?

I have had sky glass since October last year and I had no issues with f1 not going in my planner. This appears to be something new for this season.

I guess none of us have ever seen the contract so have no idea if any form of delay is built in. Hopefully its just a minor technical issue and its fixed for the next race, or ideally today.

Here's hoping or Sky is out of the window.

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?

At the end of last season Glass was working perfectly for me for F1. Sessions were 'recorded' basically the same as they were on Q, I could find them quickly and easily in the Playlist and could watch from the start either during the session or immediately afterwards. If anything that makes the current situation even more jarring, they've regressed to a point that F1 on Glass is currently worse then when Glass was first released (I had it on release)

Really hope this is a temporary glitch and they sort it out because as it stands I'm paying £95 a month to be a beta tester for a sub standard, steaming pile of turd.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

On my systemthe HD sessions are going onto the playlist properly but the UHD are not. I will be raising this with Sky via the private forum I have access to as to why that is happening. Agree it is highly annoying.

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?

So this morning P3 and Qualifying have now appeared in my playlist. I can't watch the race today so I've playlisted it. I sincerely hope I don't have to wait until tomorrow to watch it.

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?

The same p3 and qualifying are now in my play list. No point watching as sky kindly informed me of the outcome of both sessions. So not only have they messed up F1 completely they even added a new section F1 news that give you the results if you stumble upon that section while pointlessly looking for F1 in your play list.

Setting download to default, would that not mean all programmes movies included will down load in HD rather than UHD. If so why am i paying extra for UHD and surround sound, don't even get me started on the sound cant say i have ever heard anything that comes even close to surround from my TV not even when watching Saving Private Ryon, or Haksaw Ridge.

Why should we compromise anyway, we are all paying for a premium service so Sky need to start providing the Premium service we are paying for.

GET IT SORTED Sky, no more excuses or passing the buck. When i call in tonight because i Hve missed the race., If i am messed about like i was last night i will be cancelling the whole acccount contract or no contract. Sky are not delivering on there side of the contract so why should i be expected to live up to my side of the contract.

Moan over those that managed to see the race i hope its a good one and you enjoy it.

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?

You shouldn't have to agreed. If i set mine to UHD it shows nothing from yesterday (neither quali or FP3), if i have it set to Auto or HD i get both but only in HD (i have a UHD subcription).

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?

Problem is obviously larger than we thought my TV and all 3 pucks are set to UHD and i can now see p1,p2,p3 and qualifying.
