Have sky q but not a smart tv and discovery plus or any apps never work?
I have sky Q but not a smart tv. When ever I try and load the apps ie discovery, I player or YouTube its starts then black screens? I've gone through the turn off and wires out blah blah. But I'm at a loss. Works fine on my smart tv in my room on the mini box.
Thanks guys. Xxxxx

On the main box, go to Settings / Setup / Network / Advanced, and select Set Manually. This brings up a screen populated with numbers. Change DNS Server to 8.8.8.8 and press Confirm. It will drop out for a few secs while it reconnects.
Once reconnected, turn the main box off at the wall for 30 secs, then back on again and let it reboot fully. See if that helps sort things out with the apps.
If not you can always go back to Automatic at the first step.
