Has anyone suceeded in cancelling an account from SkyIreland?

Has anyone been able to cancel a skyireland subscription? No option online , no one answering the telephones or emails.  Total joke..  Is my only option to cancel my direct debit? Iv tried everything else. Is this only in Ireland ?

You cannot cancel no matter what you try on sky Ireland. None of the options work.  No one answering the phone , no one will reply to emails.Its a total disgrace.  Well I'm done , I'm cancelling my direct debit.

@L+byrne  Cancelling your direct debit does not canxel your services.  All it will result in is Sky chasing your for a non payment, which can be passed to a debt collection agency.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:

(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

As explained in the reply to your other post, cancelling your direct debit won't cancel your subscription. Furthermore you won't be able to cancel at all if your account becomes restricted because of failure to pay.

@GD1 none of the options listed work but thank you for your rely. No one is answering the phones.  I don't have skytalk, but I have been trying every day for 3 weeks to get through .  When i follow the links online it gets to the option where its says contact us and that draws a complete blank! There is no option.. Even the part where it says cancel a subscription  where someone has died doesn't even work as I felt at this stage I have died a 1000 deaths. I'm not the only person with this issue,  would like to know how did everyone else did it. A multi million euro industry and a person cannot cancel their subscription?  Is this what SkyIreland has come to? Sorry for venting but I'm so demented.

I have just tried the link provided by @GD1 It works fine. Remember to change the flag in the bottom right corner to the ROI flag and it provides an 0818 number and a Sky Ireland address in Dublin. These are your only two options.
If you're still within a minimum term you may not be able to cancel until that has ended.
