Hard Drive Issues, Sky Q Box continual reset. Does not ever start up! Followed all Help guides.

Good Morning, 

 

I am having issues with my main Sky Q box.  

The 'Hard Drive Error' message was shown and so I followed all Help guides online - trying to reset the box, but this has failed...

 

The Sky Q box continues to reset showing both images attached, and never ever moves on from it.

It is (stuck) in a constant cycle of resetting and never ever loads up the Welcome screen.

It has been like it for two days now, without change.

 

I have turned everything off at the mains, removed cables from the box itself and replugged - repeating this process and left it off overnight, but nothing changes... 😞 

I think I need a new main Sky Q box please. 

 

I have not been able to watch any TV since Tuesday.

 

Please advise.

@RitchiePaulThis is a customer forum so you need to phone Sky so they can either send an engineer or a new box to sort it out for you.

Unfortunately your photo don't show until approved by a real person (too easy to put something nasty in a photo)

@RitchiePaulUnfortunately Sky remove any phone numbers posted, the contact us link at the bottom of the page is a nightmare to navigate.

If you have the "my Sky" app it is easier to find the phone number on there, it is a free app.

Hi @RitchiePaul   Doesn't the self diagnostics you followed lead you to contact information?
