Re: HDR programming stops being HDR durinf the programme

It's an issue we've only seen with LG TV's and we're working with them to find a solution but there's nothing included in QR17 aimed at this.

Thanks,

There is a post from @Kei stating Sky recognise it as a problem. And yes I am using the Sky HDMI lead.

@Kei+M  I note your comments on this is only happening with LG Tvs however I have a Philips TV and I can assure you it is impossible to watch any HDR content as it loses the signal continuously.

Re: HDR programming stops being HDR durinf the programme

This is an infuriating issue - yet another one with the V3 box.

Honestly if there was ANY other decent alternative I'd be out like a shot - I've been with SKY for decades and it's never been as disjointed or as unreliable as it is right now.

And the same box does it on 2 different TV's with have.

Infact as I type it's just turned itself off watching the football.  Samsung Q9FN.  No other source has EVER done it.

I'd even accept right now an option to just watch UHD without HDR until it's fixed but of course you can't do that...

hi @Darren+Talbot you can do that by setting the AV resolution to 2160 p 8 bit instead of 10 bit

You can, just set your audio visual setting to 2160p 8-bit.

@Darren+Talbot you can by changing the settings  press  home down to settings then setup  then audio visual picture resolution sdelect 2160 and pick 8 bit rather than 10 bit

And to get it back you end up missing parts to get it to re-engage!

Re: HDR programming stops being HDR durinf the programme

Thanks @Kei+M for the update. As the original poster of this issue, it is disappointing that 9months on, we are still facing this issue of HDR dropping out, but appreciate the teams are working on it. It's definitely still happening. 😞
