Yes you can add a video. Click the the periods and then the camera icon on the second line and you will be able to post your video. You will have to wait for it to be approved.

Re: HDR programming stops being HDR durinf the programme

Just to update - I tried a powered splitter like a few other users have as they had positive results.... If anything it made mine worse - still drops HDR but also started losing picture and sound too at some points that I expect HDR was disabling itself.

I've seen some users have this issue on their sets so the splitter made mine do the same.  Took it out now and just back to constant HDR drop outs.  Really spoiling the whole experience now.

Re: HDR programming stops being HDR durinf the programme

This has been happening to me for months now. When watching live football on sky sports UHD or watching a Sky Cinema film in UHD the issue occurs where the HDR HLG disables. The most recent occurance is during the first 10 minutes of West Ham vs Liverpool.

I do not experience the issue when watching content directly through the TV and not coming through the Sky Q box.

I have an LG OLED55C9PLA running WebOS  version 05.10.25

My Sky Q box hardware version is 32B206

Running software version Q170.000.23.00L

@Kei+M any update on a fix for this issue?

It has been going on for almost a full year now and customers are not getting the full experience they are paying for. It looks like this was acknowledged in February and reproducible in the sky labs. Can we expect the fix before Christmas?

I doubt this will actually be rectified until another Q box is released.

Re: HDR programming stops being HDR durinf the programme

I've not had HDR drop on recorded programs. I've not been able totry liveprograms with HDR.

I would like Sky to drop HLG and go for Dolby Vision. But I doubt that ould ever happen so go for HDR10 instead.

Re: HDR programming stops being HDR durinf the programme

Just a quick update guys had my fourth sky Q box changed last week as was going into stand by again, the Engineer tried it and no drop outs for 5mins then it started. Engineer went on his ipad on their sky internal system and checked if sky had been made aware of this issue, he found that there was numerous issues reported and they are fully aware of it. I asked when can we explain to be fixed and unfortunately he didn't know but said that he would like to think it would be on the next update. I have been with sky now for 25 years or so but am seriously thinking of cancelling the whole lot as now this sky glass is out they are pushing this like crazy and all issues with the Sky Q boxes will be left behind, and in usual  sky fashion unless you upgrade to this new product tough luck just live with it!!!🙄😡

Re: HDR programming stops being HDR durinf the programme

Personally, I don't see the draw of Sky Glass at all.  I'd much rather a Sky app on the in-built TV apps tray like Prime, Netflix and Disney+.  This, and the ability to save offline (2Tb SSD or Cloud) would suffice and you don't need to be paying for the in-built soundbar like that in Sky Glass.

Most of us have had external sound setups for years and are certainly not pulling away from true surround sound and regressing to virtual.  Just my humble opinion.

@Ecosse totally agree and I hope what I said is not the case, but from experience it probably will be. It would be interesting to know if the HDR issue exists on Sky Glass.

The HDR issue doesn't exist here with recorded content. I have a v3 2TB Sky Q box. I don't know if the box makes a difference or not.

Re: HDR programming stops being HDR durinf the programme

So the new software update hasn't fixed anything...

Still getting drop outs on both live AND recorded content.  Actually recorded contenet drops quicker than live (I actually got a whole HALF a match tonight! Wooo me!)
