If it's an HD channel, you'd need a subscription which covers HD viewing.

So I've had Sky #524 on and the Sky announcer says the video and audio is cut due to graphic content - a court feed thing I thought.

So I switched to Court TV on #179 which is a few seconds behind but it does not cut the audio/video - so it seems Sky are doing their own censoring even though PIN protected.

@ozsat

I guess even behind a PIN other aspects of UK broadcasting standards still apply, including censoring language.

But Court TV did opt-out and in not PIN protected - and nothing video wise was shown which had not already been shown - and no bad language occured.  As if the Sky guy running things opted-out just in case.

Is also annoying that the PIN prompt pops up during live programming too.

Should have set EPG to be one long programme from 3am to 11pm - instead of splitting it.

I guess they just may be more sensitive to the possibility that someone complains to Ofcom.
