Fake "special" deal for new contract
If ur resigning a new contract and you after deciding u want to cancel and they start saying " because u have been with sky for so long we will offer u a one of special deal" dnt believe them. I got offered the "special deal" which I agreed to but then I added up everything myself on sky's website and it was the exact same package I agreed to. It was the same price and deal for everyone else. So your not getting the "special deal" because Ur a gold VIP member. It's all a con. Check before u decide u want to stay with sky because they are lying to everyone and treating us like mugs.

Re: Fake "special" deal for new contract
I don't think Sky are treating anyone as mugs but as the saying goes "buyer beware", it is up to you to decide if what they are offering is value for money and if you don't think it is don't sign up to it as nobody forced you to,

It's just marketing speak. All providers do the same. If you're being offered a deal that you think is value for money, it really makes no difference what Sky call it, or what's being offered elsewhere on the website.
