My sky router is producing collision packets to the tune of about 300 b/s very 3 seconds seen by the router statistic page. Unplug the ehternet port and collisions stop. Collisions build up and I need to reboot the router, it clears the reporting stats (assume routing tables as well). I have replaced the ethernet cables on both sides. The ethernet port connects to a 48 port switch to run items in the house. I also tried moving the ethernet cable port on the switch to a different switch port. Same errors.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreUnfortunately theres not a lot of info to go off here.
Have you tried with just a few devices connected to the switch to see if its possible that theres a device causing the collisions? Is it a managed or unmanaged switch?
I think you need to work backwards and connect one device at a time to see if there is a single device causing the issue.

It's unmanaged. I'll try to clear out the switch and plug them in one at at time. Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI've seen this happen before. Its related to the Sky Q box having multiple paths. Have you disabled WiFi on it?
