Essential to Superfast.

Hi there, I've recently purchased Sky Superfast after being with Essential for 5 years. But my bill hasn't been updated and still states my old bill which is due to come over in 3 days. Will it change or do I pay the old bill and the new one on the same day?

Also, I thought we get new routers for Superfast broadband?

TIA! X

Your bill should be updated during the next billing cycle.

In relation to the router if you have the old sr102 hub i would hope they send out the er115 to replace. You may have to contact sky to request it .  If you subscribed to broadband boost or have internet calls you will get the sr203.

Not if you already have a Q Hub (middle), unless you add 'Broadband Boost' and so get a Sky Broadband Hub (right).

@AlanaF

Superfast (FTTC) is typically supplied with the Sky Q Hub - the one in the middle

If you have internet calls, broadband boost or Superfast via FTTP you'll be given the Sky Broadband Hub on the right

Re: Essential to Superfast.

I don't have the Sky Q router. I only have the Sky Hub for Essential but they have only told me I'm getting it activated on the 17th. They haven't told me anything else.

If they are sending out the er115 it should show on your orders section of sky.com account->broadband. But only arrive day or 2 in advance of activation so may not show.

". My poor Sky hub has been through the wars"

and inadequate for superfast as it only has one wifi band (2.4ghz) where you need dual band 2.4 and 5ghz
