Dish not working

My Sky dish was mounted on the shed not the roof, I've never had the programmes I'm paying for, now the reception is worse than ever

Hi @castleterrace  This is a customer only community forum, you will need to call SKY and talk to an advisor, with regards to your dish?

I'd rather talk direct about the problem, I'm paying for a service I'm not getting!

The dish is in the wrong place for good reception. Channels I need show "no satellite signal"

Sky don't install dishes on the roof. If you're seeing a 'no satellite signal' message or pixelation, give Sky a ring to book an engineer.

@castleterrace  Again, to be clear You are not talking to Sky. 

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@castleterrace Unfortunately this is a customer forum and not Sky so all you can do is to phone them.

So there is little point in posting any more as no one here can help.

The helpful advice was

  1. we are customers and you aren't talking to Sky and
  2. ring Sky and arrange an engineer visit

Im not sure what else you expect fellow customers to be able to do. 
If you already have a Sky Talk landline or a Sky Mobile ring Sky free by just dialling 150. Otherwise you can use this link:
https://www.sky.com/help/home 
UK: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides an 0333 number.
ROI: change the flag in the very bottom corner of the same link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides an 0818 number.

Apparently the lines are sometimes quieter just after 7am or about 9pm so it may be worth trying then (times may vary in ROI). Stay on the line and don’t hang up if you’re prompted to.
