It just won't be daily premieres.

Re: Did sky announce end to daily cinema premiers

This is a joke and very bad customer service. Sky should at least email their subscribers about this really significant change, not just put a casual tweet out to a customer asking about it on Twitter.

And yes, I've also noticed the proliferation of different subsciption services. Previously, everything was available on Sky, but now that content is moving to all these different services requiring a new subscription for every one, increasing costs dramatically and making access to the content very inconvenient. I won't be subscribing to these.

Cinema premiers

I thought there was supposed to be a new movie every day.

Re: Did sky announce end to daily cinema premiers

Im a bit annoyed about this.

I signed up to sky cinema for things like a new movie every day.

Super disappointing! And super annoyed that I'm stuck with it now! 🙁

I think I'll try Virgin Media when this contract is up.

Can you not just cancel Sky Cinema? That would save you some money on your subscription

Sky announced the end of that some time ago, IIRC they are going for quality over quantity, also fewer movies are being made ATM (for some stange reason) so there are less to permier

As @Annie+UK suggests - ring them up or start a Messenger chat with them and ask to get rid of it, that's what I did. They tried to charge me an early cancellation fee but after I pointed out the lack of daily premieres (not that I watched them) I was able to get them to cancel that charge.

Re: Did sky announce end to daily cinema premiers

I'm not bothered by the change to Sky Cinema. I'd rather have less premiers that I'll watch more of then more premiers that I'll watch less of. Also, I'm looking forware to Paramount+ (hopefully sometime in June at the latest).
