Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt can take up to about half an hour. I'd turn the box off at the wall for 30 secs and then back on again and try again.
If your software shows as Q150 already, then no need to manually update it.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI have had to change a faulty main Q box which was on Q150 my replacement one is on Q050 (not a typo)
I have selected update software and it just shows "updating software" it has been like that for a couple of hours.
Previously I got fed up waiting and did a power off/on reset, everything works OK including mini boxes although obviously it is missing Netflix etc etc.
