Credit refund but by cheque. I can't pay in cheques

I've had an email and called the number but it only states that I can receive my credit refund by cheque.  I never paid my sky bill by cheque and would expect it to be paid directly to a bank account of my choosing but I don't get that option.  I have no way of paying in a cheque as no bank.

@sueyal  If you have no bank account how could sky pay your refund into it?

@sueyal

Automatic refunds go to the payment method on file if it’s still active, otherwise as far as I know Sky issue a cheque.

If you used to pay by direct debit and cancelled it then the only way Sky can get this to you is by a cheque.

I didn't say I didn't have a bank account, I said there is no bank to go and pay the cheque into.

Re: Credit refund but by cheque. I can't pay in cheques

Its the reason I left them in the first place, becuase they took too much money from me, almost a year later they decide they are going to refund me now but only by cheque. Looks like I won't be getting it as don't have a brick bank to pay into.  Sky could quite easily allow the option to pay into an account.

I can pay cheques into my account via the banking app by simply taking a photo of it... otherwise the bank will have a postal address to process it.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

All banks have a facility which allows you to pay in a cheque, whether they have physical branches or not.
