Re: Connection drops everyday at the same time for few mins
@DJ20141 your Q box will not be causing an issue with your hub at 22.32 but something that happens at that time in your home might. Typically something like an older thermostat or a kettle being used can cause a spark that will knock out your connection for a split second requiring the hub to reconnect. Can be outside your home but most frequently it will be close by. Getting a modern prefiltered phone master socket can help as that isolates your home's phone wiring that acts as an aerial for interference.
@Gingersteve91 the Q box was not causing an issue with your hub it is simply when in the eco mode the Q TV boxes switch off their wifi hotspots so devices near then lose the connection the hub remains on and dfvices connected directly to that still work. Anybody who loses internet connectivity around 1.30 to 5.45am this is the usual cause.

Re: Connection drops everyday at the same time for few mins
Hi @Chrisee,
I understand want your saying but thats not what I'm experiencing.
All my devices are connected via Cat5e and everything is constantly stable, the only time I have the Internet access issue is the moment the Q-box does its daily night time update/re calibration thing as I've previously mentioned.
I've been monitoring it for months it litterally cannot be anything else causing the 2 minute loss of connection / Internet access.
Especially as since I force the box to do the update at a later time, the issue follows when whatever time the box does this.
To clarify I've never had the issue when the box isn't doing it.
Steve.

@Gingersteve91 what happens to the internet light on the hub when these events happen?
If I am right the light should go amber then back to green which is caused by interference with the signal to your hub see this page
Sky Q boxes do run housekeeping procedures but they are run in the early hours not at peak viewing times. If it is a rogue box which I doubt get Sky to swap it.

Re: Connection drops everyday at the same time for few mins
I don't recall it going amber but since I found the cause of the issue I havent been checking the hub.
Yes I'm a night owl so I'm usually always active in the "early hours" when the Q box does its house keeping, ill check the hubs light when it does it again later tonight.
So just to clarify you think the Q box system house keeping is causing a "REIN/SHINE" affect on my hub?
