I added it back when they were showing a test pattern.

NBC News Now may not launch as a linear channel and may launch as an interactive channel with Peacock. NBC News Now is an online streaming service provided with a Peacock subscription* in the US. Its satellite frequency may be used for this and may not require a channel number.

NBC also may avoid Ofcom/BAI/Luxembourg regulations as it would not be a linear channel.

(* NBC News Now is a free online channel that anyone can watch, but is included with a Peacock subscription in the US)

Re: Changes to the Sky TV guide - February 2022

So NBC News should also launch on Sky Go as well?

This will be a contractual decision between Sky & NBC.

Sky provides TV channels on:

  • satellite (Sky Q, Sky+HD, Sky+, Sky Digiboxes)
  • Sky Glass,
  • PlayStation app
  • Xbox app
  • Sky Go

Sky & NBC may decide only to provide it to the satellite service or any combination of the above.

Just FYI, you can say "Settings" using the voice command by pressing and holding the blue MICROPHONE button, saying "Settings" and releasing the button. Then continue from step 3 above.

Also, if the channel has EPG data, this will only be viewable when you select the channel to view it and it will show what's on now only. Sky have disabled the SELECT and INFORMATION (i) buttons on maual channels (Sky Q). (Personally, I think this is to discourage using manual channels)

Also pause, rewind and fast forward are also disabled (Sky Q, Sky+HD, Sky+)
