• CBS Drama (ROI) (147) launches. Irish opt out of the existing channel CBS Drama UK

Saturday 19th

• Sky Best of 2020 (302)​ renames to SkyHarryPotter / HarryPotterHD​. All aboard for a trip to the Wizarding World.​
• Sky Greats (304) renames to Sky Musicals/SkyMusicalsHD We give up the stage - and an entire channel - for a selection of Hollywood's best-loved song'n'dance extravaganzas.​

Sunday 27th

• NOW XMAS (371) Changes name to NOW 80s. Your eighties party channel - 24/7. Expect synth pop, soft rock, leg warmers, lycra and lots of big hair! Classic pop that has stood the test of time.
• NOW 80s (372) renames to NOW90s. The video playing nothing but the 90s! Feel good favourites from the decade's biggest artists including Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Kylie Minogue, Simply Red, The Spice Girls & The Corrs.

Thursday 31st

• Sky Cinema Disney (307) renames to Sky 5*Movies/Sky5*MoviesHD. Book your first class viewing with our collection of the best of the best​.

This monring Amazon Prime arrived on Sky Q, which is great, but at the same time most of the Radio and Music channels seem to have disapeared? 

Radio; now only Panjab, EWTN, Khushjhabri, RTE Radio 1, 2FM, Lyric FM, RnaG, Newstalk, BFBS & UBC Ireland

Music; now only MTV Music, MTV Hits, MTV Base, MTV Xmas & Spotlight? 

A glitch or a cull? Anyone know what's going on?

I really do hope we get some answers, the only reason we have sky is to listen to Planet rock (as we love Blues music), the disappointing after listening to Mick Jaggers blues hour yesterday to find it has disappeared today. I guess sky will be losing another customer to Netflix and Internet radio which is sad as we have been loyal customers for many many years.

I upgraded my SkyQ this morning to get the new Amazon Prime app. The app showed up fine, but all the NOW music channels are missing.

That change is not on your list. Do you know how to get them back?

I believe that a whole series of channels were removed in Ireland and the Channel Islands this morning but perhaps @Chloe-W22 would be able to confirm if that is the case and, if so, whether the removals are permanent.

The fact that the changes seem to be limited to Ireland and the Channel Islands makes me think they are linked to Brexit. Perhaps anticipating changed licensing arrangements that will aplly from 1 January.

I'm from Ireland too and my box has done the same. I guess the gotten rid of all the music channels. Man this is ridiculous I honestly don't see the point on having the sky box anymore

Hey all, the channels have decided to close in ROI, as they won’t be licenced for the territory post-Brexit in January 2021.
