You're being pedantic. Also "Ireland", "Éire" or "Eire" are official names for Ireland. Google it.

I tend to type 'Eire' because in this context using 'Ireland' risks causing confusion between the legal situation in the Republic and that in the six counties which are regulated under UK broadcasting legislation (and are outside the EU, which is also relevant) despite the same Astra satellite footprint covering the whole island.  I'm also very aware that names can be contentious ; )

And by the looks of it won't be available on sky in the uk without a hd viewing entitlement as it's a hd launch only similar to nbc now

@SKY1992bf  It's FTA as it's on Freesat too.

@GD1  That's a good point, In that case I take it that nbc now is not available FTA on freesat? otherwise I would have access to it on sky

@SKY1992bf  I've seen no reference to NBC News Now being on Freesat.

Re: Changes to the Sky TV guide - April 2022

I see TalkTV doesn’t actually launch until 1900 on the 25th of this month. The preview of the channel is on satellite already by doing a manual frequency search.

As for both QVC channels in HD, I’m able to view them without an HD subscription.

@Anonymous Yes, I should’ve added it’s been available for a while by doing a manual search. That’s how I found London Live as I don’t have a London postcode.

Hi all,

I just wanted to confirm that this list outlines changes made to the Sky EPG and not specifically when a channel launches, so for Talk TV this was added to your TV Guide on April 13th but the actual channel begins broadcasting April 25th as per @TimmyBGood's link 😀
