@Michael+artin  You are not talking to Sky this is a customer helps customer forum.   No one will contact you on the back of a forum post.

If you want to cancel and you are not in a minimum term then you need to speak to Sky, however if you are still in aminumum term then Sky refuse to cancel your services.

Witholding payment also will not get this resolved and will make matters worse.

You will need to call Sky or use the following link https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave

You can also call on 150 from a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk line

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Michael+artin You may be unaware but you’re talking with other customers on here as it’s primarily a customer helps customer forum. Sky won’t automatically contact you as the result of your post on here.

Did you get a confirmation email re cancelling.

You have to give 31 days notice to cancel (15 for Broadband). You're billed as normal during the notice period.

What date did you give notice to cancel your services @Michael+artin because you will be billed right up to the date your services stop.

  • If contacting Sky directs you to pay your outstanding bill and your services are restricted you need to pay your bill in full and reinstate a direct payment method before anyone will talk to you.
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 24 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.
