Can Sky stop spoiling the football results on Q

Seems to be a recent addition but getting really annoyed with Sky displaying the days Premier League results on the homescreen. If I haven't watched any games I'll wait for Match Of The Day. There is no need to display the scores here. If people want to see the results they can look it up on their mobile etc or go to Sky Sports News.

Couldn't agree more.  I have lodged an official complaint. I don't pay an extortianate amount to Sky each month for their sports coverage only for them to be the ones who spoil my Sports viewing.

Let's hope the powers that be, see sense or they can wave goodbye to a Sky Sports subscriber of over 20 years.

I've also asked for a refund for the past few months sports viewing and I suggest others ask the same. This is not what we signed up for.

Couldn't agree more. The most idiotic thing. I really don't understand why they would do this. It makes no sense. They will lose a lot of viewers.

I always had the opinion that Sky were really clued when it came to sport especially football. I don't think they display results for any other sport highlights. As you can tell it has really really annoyed me.

I blame clickbait.

As its become more prevalent mainstream media has jumped on the bandwagon and the quest for putting up something attention grabbing has completely trumped consideration when it comes to how things are labled / titled up.

@Jippy+Tummy

Sky have said they get more viewer click-through on a panel that says the scores than a panel that doesn't, so customer traffic wins unfortunately. I do agree it's a ridiculous stance.

"They will lose a lot of viewers."

No, they really won't.

Makes no sense! What other menu are you going to use other than the one they provide...they could have Boris Johnson cutting his toenails .. You've still got to use it
