CAT 6 ethernet to Garden room

Hi I have just had a cat6 Internet cable fro. Garden room into the main house.   Can I just plug ethernet cable from main router to box in main house and from box in Garden room into ethernet port on  minibox? Thanks for any help

hi @Scotty197108 I think it depends on whether your router is SKy or not.

If you are with SKy then I think yes.

If you are with another provider then you can connect the mini to the Main box or both the mini & Main into the router (or other unmanaged switch)

Thanks for reply yes I have Sky router tried it earlier but didn't have any success was just stuck on screen which says connect to WiFi or use ethernet...!
