By sport card trouble

I don’t subscribe to sky but use an old sky box with which I watch bt sport on . My box packed in so my son-in-law gave me his Sky+ box but now I can’t recieve Bt sport on it could you assist please . I’ve put the old sky card into my new box rang by they lined the card up with my sky+ but it still don’t work they suggested asking you to help thanks very much please get back to me

I suspect the issue is that your Viewing Card and your replacement Sky box aren't  linked ('paired'). You could try carrying out a New Install option via the box's Installer Menu if the box is connected to the internet. You can access the Installer Menu, by keying Services,0,0,1.Select on your remote.

However,  I foresee a possible problem in pairing your card and box as you no longer have a Sky subscription
