Most likely making it available on demand before the 9pm showing.

It is their standard for lots of programmes to show it first at 2am

They do it all the time

I'm surprised you have noticed this before @Timelord2018 with the 2am broadcasts of certain shows.

Re: Bull - Sky Witness

With the 2am type broadcasts, you have to be careful when series linking. Sometimes the 2am showing doesn't series link and you only get that one episode. So in that case, you would have to series link the evening showing.

Also be careful if the firs showing is a double episode at 2am. It should show a series link which would be episodes 1 & 2 and then nothing after that.

Re: Bull - Sky Witness

I couldn't why they broadcast at 2am for one week only , Not sure why Sky  usually show Billions at 2am on Wed morning either, given it airs on Sunday night in the US.

The 2am showing of Billions actually makes sence if Sky do it correctly. It means you can download the UHD version and not have to wat until after the evening showing.

Maybe in the case of Bull, by showing the first episode at 2am, all day Wednesday they could use a big banner ad first thing when people go to the main menu on their Sky Q with the new episode advertised

I think this is exactly what it'll be - they've done it before with other Sky Witness series.

Re: Bull - Sky Witness

Yes they did recently with 1st episode of Departure, I know Sky Atlantic do it with HBO stuff on Monday which I understand as its simulcast and currently doing it with Showtime Dexter on Monday aswell, but also airing Yellowjackets at 2:25am on Thursday every week aswell

I remember Sky Max airing the first 2 episodes of Chucky at Friday at 2am and 3am , Sky must think this works but I don't see the point unless it"s simulcast.

Dexter and Chucky make the same sense that Billions does because they are in UHD.
