BT Sport UHD

Just upgraded to Sky Q and was expecting to watch the CL football last night in UHD as have the UHD add-on but found that BT Sports Ultimate doesn't seem to be available in Ireland.

 

Is that the case and is there any sign of us getting UHD on BT Sports in the future?

@scarnage  As BT Sport don't broadcast UHD football over satellite then no there is likely to be very little chance of their UHD coming to Sky.  Only subscribers who use BT direct will get access to UHD.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi @scarnage 

 

BT Sport on Sky is not available is UHD. BT have decided to retain the rights to BT Sport UHD on their own platform. The reciprocal is true, Sky retain Sky Sports UHD on Sky only.

Yeah bt have given it to Virgin 4k though just Shame can't have 4k sky sports and bt 4k same company.
